To the members of Warfleigh Neighborhood Association who met at Trinity Sunday night, thanks for inviting me to speak at the last minute. I'm an IPS parent and now a School Board Candidate for District 3. I seek forums for meeting constituents, sharing my ideas, and hearing yours. Would anyone like to organize an education forum for all candidates?

Resist the temptation
http://hoosiergardener.com/?p=3734http://hoosiergardener.com/?p=3734 to knock off the snow and ice on tree limbs and shrubs. Doing so could damage your plants even more. It's best to let Mother Nature melt the snow and ice naturally.

A rare sighting of a snow plow this afternoon going south to north on Garver Road. I hope the rest of Warfleigh fared as well. This is the first time I know of a snow plow on Garver Road since 1989.

Hello everyone I'm new on here. I've lived in this neighbourhood going on 5 yrs. I recently lost my job and separated my shoulder. I've been going around door to door asking to paint the address on curb. Just wanted everyone to know not a scam don't mean to interupt anyones day. Sorry if I do don't mean no harm. Just trying to make ends meet.

My fiancee and I are moving into the Warfleigh neighborhood this Thursday. We recently discovered that we cannot transfer our Comcast service to the new house. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on who they use for internet and tv service. Thanks!

Lately on Meridian St, idiots on motorcycles have been racing up and down the street making a ton of noise and nearly causing a few accidents. Today I spoke with IMPD Traffic Enforcement and they confirmed that they will step up patrols to try and cut down on the nuisance. With as many accidents as I see and nearly been a victim of on Meridian at 62nd St, the last thing we need is a bunch of guys treating the road like a motocross track. My 15 month old daughter told me she hates it too.
I just…

Imagine my surprise when the cat that I thought was lost and then reunited with its owner appeared again in my yard.
Apparently, the cat was not lost at all, but rather allowed to roam throughout the neighborhood. This black, female cat is friendly, but has no collar.
When the owner picked up the cat last week, I mentioned that Marion County had ordinances that prohibit allowing domesticated animals to run. Dogs, cats, ferrets and other kinds of pets are required to be under a human's control…

There have been two incidents both small. The first was someone stole our solar lights and the other was someone pulled our alarm sign out and through it into our yard.
Thank you,

Yeah! Thanks to the Warfleigh Web site, the black, female cat I found has been reunited with her owner, a neighbor of Rita Hupp on Riverview.

I found a black, female cat, a little on the smallish side. She's friendly...allowed me to pick her up and snuggles. She was not wearing a collar and was found sitting under my bird feeder. Right now she's on my back porch. I already have a found dog and cat. Please contact me if she belongs to you.
This might be a good time to remind neighbors that is against the law in Marion County to allow your pets, dogs OR cats to roam. The ordinance says the pets must be under your control at all time. H…

Anyone in Warfleigh neighborhood missing their dog?? I found a mostly brindle, with white, dog tonight on 64th street. He looks like a pitbull mix. He is very sweet, clean, and listens to commands, such as sit and shake. He had no collar on, so I took him to see if he was microchipped but he is not. I know he is someone's pet!! I can't keep him at my house for long. Please contact me if this is your dog. Thanks,
Natalie

First, I have to make a disclaimer that the thought of digging through this in order for someone to use it regarding a neighbor makes me feel a little icky, but on the other hand, people who own houses here but don't live here aren't neighbors.
Anyway, someone at the Neighborhood Meeting brought up the topic of landlords who do not maintain their property, and I said that you could view the municipal code oneline. Here's the link:…

Intersting part of Indy, this Warflay Area! My family has been here since '07 and enjoy many things about this neighborhood. We're part of St. Joan of Arc Parish, although it's 2 miles south. We love to hike around the river and stroll to Broad Ripple in the warmer months. We're Latino (PuertoRican and Peruvian), and have two sons and a big dawg! the diversity of the architecture impresses me, although the diversity of the residents could use a little work. We hope to find out more about the his…

Be on the lookout for a small beat up possibly green or blue car with tinted windows. There is a pedophile on the loose. Be sure to talk to your children about this as difficult as it is. And pass this along.
An IHM student was walking home from school and spotted a man with his pants down fondling himself in his car.
Details: small, beat up (possibly green, but not sure) car with TINTED windows. Male, Caucasian. That's all the info I have.
Please tell your children to go to the nearest home w…
