I think they may be having a hard time finding enough food, so they are coming out earlier to search. I have one that shows up under the bird feeder every day around 3pm
Saw him in my back yard about two weeks ago -- thought it was odd that he was out in the day light, too!
Isaac and I got a Valentine's gift today. Spotting a large possum walking down the sidwalk on 63rd at 5:30. Don't know what the dude was doing out during daylight, but it was a treat to see him. Anyone else see him out and about?
I'd be interested - agree with the every other month.
I am in the middle of Christopher Plummer's (Col. Van Trapp - Sound of Music) autobiography. Heard him on NPR and thought it sounded interesting. I would welcome a new read - the book is painful.…
Sorry - I didn't hear anything and I'm usually up until midnight or later. It does seem that the nieghborhood is regularly trolled for unlocked vechiles, garages, etc. And a Monday night??? Makes me think some kids that live close by - since the one…

We recently had Republic at a "green" event at our work,so the first-hand lowdown is yes they are taking cardboard and plastics 1 to 7. They have a new facility which automates sorting. I believe the same is true for Rays. Not sure why they are not…

- Hi, Carol - Of course! Ernie would love to star in your story. Not to burst your bubble, but he is already famous; he starred on the Channel 13 evening news one wintry day a couple of years ago (romping in the snow by the canal while all others were huddled up indoors). FYI: His vet is Penny Dowden at the Paw Patch Veterinary Clinic, 49th & College. They are into holistic medicine and have a certified animal masseuse on staff. I know Dr. Cara Gardner and several other docs at Broadripple Animal Clinic are very into holistic treatment as well. Let me know if I can be of more help!
