recycling electronics?

I missed the event in January when you could recycle old electronic devices and was wondering if anyone knew where I could drop off such items. We've got a couple of VCRs, small CD player & cell phone, none of which work ;) On one local recycling website it lists some electronic recyclers, but they all seem to focus on computers. If anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them!! Thanks!
