I saw a black suburban on fri. and called 911. It was driven east on 63rd. and pulled over next to the CVS and parked on the street. The police came right away and did all the things he could in the way of tracking down the 'right' vehicle. I saw another one on that fri night. A white youngish guy was driving and the license plate was ###NIP (sorry, can't remember those #s on the blue truck plate) This time I didn't call 911. The last three letters were more memorable. I need to know that other people are calling too so I won't look like some crazy lady. They don't make that many suburbans, you know, and they only come in a few colors. Together, we easily could spot this vehicle if it comes through Broad Ripple. I'm really glad the officer did not approach me, and that I didn't really feel it was a bother at all to call.

Could be completely unrelated, but a few weeks ago, a couple was robbed and assaulted on Park Ave. near Laverock. The person who came upon the crime and reportedly scared them off reported the suspects were three black males in a dark SUV. This occurred on a Saturday night around 3am; sounds like they were waiting in the shadows for a vulnerable (possibly drunk) target.
